The main way to get to Fernando de Noronha is by airplane. Located in the northeastern
region of Brazil, approximately 339 miles from the coast of Pernambuco, the island is easily
accessible with around six daily flights operated by Azul Airlines from Recife, with an
approximate flight time of 1 hour and 35 minutes. If you are traveling from the United States,
the most convenient route is to fly from Florida to Recife and then take the connecting flight
to Noronha. Alternatively, you can fly from the U.S. or elsewhere in the world to São Paulo or
Rio de Janeiro, then to Recife, and finally to Fernando de Noronha.
